Levent Kerimol, Project Director
Lev was previously at the GLA, establishing the Small Sites x Small Builders programme, contributing to the London Plan, and managing a range of projects. He also worked with LB Lewisham on the early stages of the RUSS project. Lev has studied architecture and real estate and taught Design & Planning at London Met.
Rowan Mackay, Senior Project Adviser
Rowan has a public sector urban design and project management background specialising in participatory planning and design and group facilitation. He is an associate of Architecture Sans Frontières UK and is working part time on a PhD at the CRESR Institute, Sheffield Hallam University.
Colin Archer, Associate Adviser
Colin is an experienced development manager, having led development at Islington & Shoreditch HA, and coordinated activity across the North River Alliance of 11 smaller Registered Providers. Colin’s career has involved a range of roles in affordable housing, and he recently completed an MA in Public Management.
Sib Trigg, Associate Adviser
Sib is a designer and community organiser. They have experience in co-production between local authorities and community groups, and are carrying out PhD research in collaborative practice focused on the role of data in community led urban regeneration.
Andy Bates, Associate Adviser
Andy has a background in housing management, recently retiring from the Leathermarket Tenant Management Organisation. Andy is a strong advocate of resident control in social housing, and brings considerable experience in governance and management to support our work in coproduction and stewardship. He is also working with the Chartered Institute of Housing on training new professionals.
Michaela Bygrave, Viability Consultant
Michaela is a chartered surveyor with a background in Savills’ affordable housing team. We’ve worked with her on a number of community led housing projects through her consultancy, Pointe Michel.
Gauthier Guerin, Financial Consultant
Gauthier has spent many years developing expertise in financial modelling around co-operative housing. We’ve worked together on a number of co-operative housing projects through Catalyst Collective.
Karen Livesey, Associate Community Facilitator
Karen cultivates connections through deep listening and reflection in her coaching practice. Her work involves communication, group facilitation, and using emotional intelligence to resolve tensions. She draws upon years of experience in community development, filmmaking, and as a health practitioner.
Andy Redfearn, Associate Adviser and Development Manager
Andy is one half of housing consultancy LivShare, who work with a range of small housing charities, churches, and local authorities. Andy was previously housing & development lead for a large London YMCA, and has experience in meeting the needs of vulnerable people requiring temporary housing.
Cheryl Scott, Associate Adviser and Development Manager
Cheryl has worked in social housing development and regeneration for many years, including senior positions at Viridian and Wandle Housing Associations. She has lead project management, financial appraisals, scheme feasibilities, and new business activity, and is familiar with land deals as well as package / section 106 deals.

Brendan Conway
Brendan is a development surveyor, and established the Development Agency team at Marsh & Parsons, seeing through many land deals in London. He left to do an MSc in Sustainability, and is involved in various local charities part time.
Chris Carthy
Chris is experienced in procuring and managing consultant teams on behalf of community organisations and assisting groups to achieve best value, good governance and sustainable outcomes. He has particular expertise as a CLH Adviser in project governance, collaborative briefing, objective setting, and risk management.
Dinah Roake
Dinah has worked in a key development role at RUSS and with Brixton Green CLT in the past, liaising with the public sector and developing innovative rental models. She is experienced in planning and housing, having previously worked at the Homes and Communities Agency and Peabody.
Gemma Holyoak
Gemma was an adviser in our team for just over 3 years, working with many groups. She has a background in architecture and had briefly worked at LB Southwark. She has gone on to work for a developer specialising in enabling cohousing developments.
Lorraine Hart
Lorraine has years of experience in promoting and supporting community led development and regeneration, including the funding, building and completing of community-led workspace, community facilities and housing. She has been a Technical Adviser for the National CLT Network, and originally qualified as a planner.
Maria Brenton
Maria has experience in group-building, shaping community values and marketing. She has been involved with the development of OWCH (Older Women’s Cohousing) in High Barnet. She was also co-ordinator for Cohousing Woodside and is familiar with cohousing developments overseas. She is the Senior Cohousing Ambassador for the UK Cohousing Network.
Sam Brown
Sam is an architect who has led on international research with the National Custom & Self Build Association and National CLT Network. Sam worked on the early stages of the RUSS Church Grove project, developing effective governance and policies, preparing their OJEU submission for the site, raising over £1m in pre-development resources, exploring financial viability and facilitating a programme of co-design workshops with members.
Stephen Hill
Stephen provides strategic advice to the team. He originally qualified as a planning and development surveyor with public and private sector experience of housing and mixed-use development, and has been a key advocate of community-led neighbourhood regeneration. He chaired the UK Cohousing Network, and was a trustee for the National CLT Network until 2020. He is an associate of the Centre for CLT Innovation supporting the growth of CLTs around the world.
